The target audience for this course are learners who want to acquire basic computer art skills and use Microsoft Paint and Microsoft Word to create simple images. Learners in this category may not previously have had much experience of using a computer. The course will equip learners to understand the basic functions and use of Microsoft Paint and Microsoft Word software, and to develop their own pictures which they can save, print and edit. The course includes the fundamentals of importing and printing digital photographs. The course is designed to provide the learner with hands-on practice and confidence in creating pictures, and does this through a series of demonstrations and simulated exercises to practise tasks.
